Both new casinos see Tain making a radical change in technology choice that includes Mac-compatible support and feature functionality to a level yet to be seen in online casinos.

Betbull said in a statement that it would be placing 800 000 ordinary shares of one Euro each at a placing price of Euro 1.25 in order to raise one million Euros before expenses.

“Certain existing shareholders including members of the management team have agreed to subscribe for shares pursuant to the placing,” a casino games company spokesman revealed this week.

“We are happy to have reached agreement on further funding for our Spanish operations, clearly demonstrating the company’s commitment and confidence in this area,” said Simon Bold, new co-managing director for Betbull.

“Relocation of the company from London to Vienna is in the final stages and we will benefit in the coming year from cost savings associated with this move.”

Casino gambling is currently illegal in Massachusetts. Mohegan Sun promised thousands of jobs if its internet casino is built in Palmer, according to WWLP.

But not everyone at the presentation was in favor of casino gambling.

Consumer Minister Kevin Brennan said the UK government was working to stamp out the scam. “We already have “Scambusters” teams throughout the country and, as we announced earlier this year, we are planning to set up new internet enforcement teams to target online casinos to protect consumers,” he told reporters.

The problem really lies in the fact that justice is slow to act in the EU right now. Although the Commission has begun to threaten the nations to pass more inclusive online casino gambling laws, the threat is not imminent and so there is very little change occurring. A referral to the European Court of Justice for ruling on these cases of blatant protectionism could likely take several years before they are effectively handled. That’s just giving the countries reason to keep protectionist policies in place and block foreign online casinos.

The Commission has very little real power outside of negotiations and then referrals to the ECoJ. Beyond that, it is up to the citizens and the individual governments to respond to the call for an open and free online casino gambling market. Internet gambling is pervasive, it’s going to happen, and EU policies dictate that the individual EU member-states need to operate with the notion of free trading of goods and services at the forefront of their minds.
